This ooey gooey Pull Apart Pizza Bread is an easy recipe to cook over a campfire. Perfect for your next spring camping adventure!
Better yet, this recipe takes only 10 minutes to prep and 15 minutes to cook!
Start with an extra large white bun or round sour dough loaf. Gather your favorite pizza toppings (try: pepperoni, salami, ham, mushrooms, green peppers and mozarella cheese). Slice the bread horizontal and vertically to make a checkerboard pattern, without cutting all the way through. Stuff your pizza toppings in between the bread squares and then stuff shredded cheese in between.
Wrap in foil and put in a low fire (just coals would be perfect), or on the barbecue grill for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the coals and uncover. Pull apart the squares to enjoy!
