Is winter dragging by for you? Are you looking for a fun activity for the family, or a date with that special someone? A guided snow shoe tour at Lake Easton can provide fun, exercise, and beautiful scenery all wrapped up into one.

Lake Easton is located off I-90 between North Bend and Ellensburg, and is just an hour and a half drive from Wenatchee. The park boasts basic snowshoeing terrain, enthusiastic park guides and beautiful views.

Lake Easton Snowshoe Hikes

At Lake Easton, all hikes will depart at 1pm on the following Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Jan. 1 (Wed.), 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26
  • Feb. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23
  • The New Year’s Day hike, part of a national “First Day Hikes” event, includes snacks and hot beverages.

The hike will take about 2.5 hours and will cover a distance of about 3 miles. Guides will share the park’s natural history and safety information. Consider staying for sunset on clear or partly cloudy days! Click for more information.
