Mountain Magic Trail Run
June 22, 2019, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Mount Spokane State Park
Celebrate the first day of summer on some of Spokane’s most enchanting trails! The Mountain Magic trail run returns to Mt. Spokane June 22 for its second year. The course, which is all on Nordic ski trails, provides mostly non-technical single track among the pines. It features wide-open views that last year’s runners gave high marks for scenery and runability, while still providing a reasonable level of challenge, particularly for 25k runners.
This year the race has been expanded to include a 5k option, to encourage adults, youth and kids who have never run trails or entered a trail race to make the move from pavement to dirt. The 5k course covers one of the most beautiful, winding parts of the run.
Expect a fun vibe and hearty post-race refreshments. All funds support the founding of OutLive, which will help cancer survivors find a healthy and meaning-filled life by getting active outdoors and connected with others.
